2. Prices and Taxes
All prices are quoted in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any additional local taxes, fees, or charges mandated by the government are the responsibility of the guest.


3. Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out
Full payment is required at the time of check-in unless pre-paid arrangements have been made. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and cash. A valid photo ID is required upon check-in. Guests are expected to check in and check out within the times specified by the hotel. Late check-out may incur additional charges, subject to availability.


4. Reservation Confirmation, Payment, and Security
Your reservation becomes binding when you receive a booking confirmation with an assigned booking number after payment. Secure payment transactions are ensured via our online portals, and any payment issues, including those related to credit cards, are promptly addressed. Our trusted partner, Nets Easy, processes your credit card information in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), ensuring its security. Your name and contact information are accessible only to us and the specific service providers.
Please verify that your arrival and departure dates and other key booking details are correct. When using the currency converter during booking, values shown in other currencies are for reference only. The actual amount will always be charged in the local currency (NOK). 5. Traveling with Minors
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The hotel reserves the right to request proof of relationship and age identification for minors. Special accommodations or additional bedding for minors may be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.


6. Accessibility or Special Needs
The hotel is committed to providing accessible facilities for guests with special needs. Please notify us in advance if you require any special accommodations or services during your stay. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your needs.


7. Parking
Parking facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be subject to availability and additional charges. The hotel is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or personal belongings left in vehicles.


8. Hotel Events
The hotel hosts various events throughout the year. While we strive to minimize any disruptions, please be aware that noise and activity levels may vary during event times. Guests are encouraged to check the hotel’s event schedule prior to booking.


9. Dispute Resolution/Issues
In the event of any disputes or issues arising during your stay, please contact hotel management immediately to seek a resolution. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of Norway, and any legal proceedings shall take place in the courts of Bergen.


10. Use of Personal Information
Personal information provided during booking and stay will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may use your information for managing reservations, improving services, and marketing communications. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.


11. Liability
The hotel is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings during their stay, except as required by Norwegian law. Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their personal property. The hotel reserves the right to charge guests for any damages or missing items from their room during their stay.


12. Force Majeure
The hotel is not responsible for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, government actions, or other emergencies. In such events, the hotel reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations without liability.


13. Third Party Rights
These terms and conditions are intended solely for the benefit of the guests and the hotel. No third party shall have any rights to enforce any of these terms under Norwegian law.


14. Waiver
No failure or delay by the hotel in exercising any right or remedy provided under these terms shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it preclude or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.


15. Severance
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
